Hey kids, start bugging your parents now because Public Works Day in Palm Bay is right around the corner.

What is Public Works day?

It is put on the City of Palm Bay to give you, the citizens of Palm Bay, the chance to talk to the public works crews and get your puicture taken on or near some of the heavy equipment used throughout the city.

Now, I know that nearly every youngster loves big trucks, road graders and the heavy machinery and would love to chack out all the equipment the city uses for maintenance. Some of us adults think all that heavy equipment is kinda cool too.

In addition to having the machinery on display, there will be information booths, a public works obstacle course, a scavanger hunt and other surprises. There will also be food, drinks and entertainment.

Public Works Day is scheduled for Saturday May 20th from 10 am to 2 pm and will take place at Palm Bay City Hall.
