Palm Bay Starbucks - Please Install Your Wireless Access!
Regularly I like to get out of the house and go to the library or someplace that has free wireless access and do some work. I recently got a wireless card for my wife’s old laptop with Win98 (the worst, most vulnerable operating system in the world) and like to do some blogging or various simple tasks outside the home just for a change of pace.
To my dismay last Wednesday, I pulled up to the Atlanta Bread in Palm Bay and it was closed, permanently! That’s a real bummer because they had nice booths and big tables to relax in and have enough room. Well, I decided to go over to the Palm Bay Starbucks and see if they installed their wireless access yet. Nope!
Now, I asked if they had wireless the last time we were in there which was more than a month ago and the response was very soon. I wouldn’t call a month later very soon. It’s a pretty simple task to drop a cable from the line out front and install a router in the place. And it’s even a good business decision right now to get it done as quickly as possible since Atlanta Bread is now closed. Whenever I’ve been in there in the mornings around 9:00 am or so there are usually 3 or 4 other people with their computers as well and we’ll be looking to get access and drink coffee come this Monday morning.
Please Starbucks, give us wireless access in Palm Bay Florida.
