Global Warming Comes To Palm Bay Florida
Completely without an invitation from the Palm Bay City council, Mayor or a publicity stunt from Mr Global Warming himself, Al Gore, global warming has arrived in Palm Bay Florida. The sleepy little community of Palm Bay has avoided the dreaded global catastrophe brought about by Republicans and specifically George Bush himself in the past, but since his brother Jeb left the Governor’s Mansion in Florida earlier this month, new Governor Charlie Crist cannot pull the same influence Jeb could with the President.
Apparently George W has decided Palm Bay deserves a little of what the rest of the world is experiencing.
Equally irresponsible Speaker of The House, Nancy Pelosi, while promising to solve all the world’s problems, has done nothing to solve the impending polar meltdown, even though she has been Speaker for nearly four complete days now. One wonders what in the world the woman is doing in Washington when such a crisis is at hand.
While coastal regions have not been inundated by water and no glaciers or arctic ice shelves have been spotted off the Florida coast, temperatures have reached historical highs of over 82 degrees for early January and we have actually had to run our air conditioner for almost all of the past week.
In so many words, it’s just plain hot in Palm Bay for the beginning of the second week in January.
