Our Palm Bay Florida Home Is Now Priced At $209,500
Well, we’ve again reduced the price of our Palm Bay Florida spec home that we closed on back in August of 2004 and finally completed in October of 2006. Now it’s down to a ridiculous price of $209,500 which is well below the price we paid for it at $241,000.
Are we losing money on this deal? You bet we are. In fact, we’ve already lost a ton of money because we’ve been making some form or another of a payment since September of 2005. However, we are now working on what’s called a short sale where we get a little of the cost of our mortgage reduced rather than the bank facing a foreclosure from us. Understand that we’ve already lost a bunch of money here and if we get a chance to go the short sale route it will just reduce our future losses.
So, if you are interested in this house in Florida, know right up front that the price listed at $209,500 is subject to the short sale.
The home in Palm Bay is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom 1,703 square foot beauty in a gated community and the house itself is located right on a canal so you will have a quiet view out your back porch. The house is in a great location across the street from Wal Mart and near the local Palm Bay Starbucks, Denny’s and Golden Corral. You are also right across the street from Riviera Elementary School.
This is a nice home and now it’s listed at an incredible price at $209,500. You can’t build a house for this cheap right now and you’d also have to wait about 9 months to have one built.
